Community Engagement Specialist

As Communications Coordinator, Rose shapes and sustains the Center for Social and Behavioral Science (CSBS) communication strategy, spotlighting center events, services, resources, and capabilities. Her role extends to fostering growth in the University of Illinois’ social and behavioral science community, showcasing the achievements and impact of CSBS affiliates and partners within the university and the wider public. This includes regularly communicating the significance of social and behavioral science and the impact of such research and collaboration on society.

Rose’s educational background includes a BS in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois, an AA in Mass Communications and AA in Sociology from Parkland College, an MA in Journalism from Michigan State University, and an MS in Natural Resources from North Carolina State University.
