Associate Director

CSBS Associate Director Brenda Koester has experience developing, supporting, and conducting interdisciplinary research. Because she has this experience, Brenda knows research support is integral to its success and thus applies her passion for CSBS’s mission.

In this role at CSBS, Brenda is excited to amplify and increase the capacity for supporting innovative social and behavioral research that addresses grand societal challenges.

Brenda’s educational background includes an MS in Labor and Employment Relations and a BS in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
