About Kaylee: 

Kaylee M. Lukacena started her role at the CSBS in January 2020. She is also a Ph.D. candidate finishing her degree in Health Communication at the University of Kentucky. Kaylee is committed to supporting and conducting social and behavioral health research. Her personal line of research has focused on the design, implementation, and evaluation of health messages, as well as interpersonally navigating health conversations. Topically, Kaylee primarily focuses on issues of social and relational importance such as working to alleviate the prescription medication epidemic, preventing interpersonal violence through bystander intervention, and empowering survivors of intimate partner violence. Kaylee enjoys traveling, running, hiking, exploring coffee shops, and spending time with her dog Stormy.
