Meet CSBS Communications Coordinator Cris Perez Molina

The Center for Social and Behavioral Science (CSBS) is pleased to welcome Cris Perez Molina (he/him) as our new Communications Coordinator, joining the team in January.

Cris brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications, design, and brand management across public-sector and community-focused organizations. Most recently, he served as Branding and Design Manager for the City of Douglasville, Georgia, where he partnered with municipal departments to translate complex information into clear, accessible, and engaging communications for the public.

In his role at CSBS, Cris will support the Center’s mission by amplifying the work of social and behavioral scientists across campus, strengthening internal and external communications, and helping share CSBS programs, research, and events with a broader audience. He is especially passionate about audience-centered storytelling and using thoughtful design to build trust, foster inclusion, and support meaningful community engagement.

Cris is excited to join CSBS at a time when collaboration across disciplines is more important than ever. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking national parks, exploring international foods, and finding creative inspiration through photography, painting, printmaking, and other visual arts. He looks forward to continuing these creative pursuits while getting to know the Champaign-Urbana community.

Please join us in welcoming Cris to the CSBS community!
