We encourage you to apply to the Jump Applied Research for Community Health through Engineering and Simulation (Jump ARCHES) Spring 2025 Request for Proposals (RFP). Jump ARCHES is a strategic partnership with the University of Illinois Grainger Health Care Engineering Systems Center (HCESC) that partners teams of clinicians, engineers, and researchers working together to improve patient outcomes and reduce health care costs.
The Spring 2025 RFP cycle supports two parallel programs:
- Innovation RFP Call: supports impactful projects that use research methods to design, implement, and evaluate innovative solutions to health system operational challenges and issues affecting patient outcomes.
- Translational Research Call: supports projects that address the challenges and opportunities that arise in applying discoveries and findings from health research and innovation to improve clinical processes and procedures, create novel health applications, translate evidence-based approaches into health practice, and improve patient outcomes.
Special attention will be given to proposals addressing topics in the social and behavioral sciences, especially related to social determinants of health, health inequity, developmental conditions, social and behavioral health, social and behavioral influences on the cancer continuum, and the digital revolution.
As part of our commitment to supporting innovative social and behavioral science research to address major societal challenges, the CSBS team is here to help Illinois researchers identify collaborators in Engineering and/or OSF clinicians and provide support with proposal preparation. Please reach out to the research development staff at CSBScience@illinois.edu for assistance with your proposals.
The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, April 4, 2025, at 5:00 pm. Additional information can be found on the Jump ARCHES submission website.
