Faculty developing translational, implementation-focused, or health systems research are encouraged to apply for the Spring 2026 Jump Applied Research for Community Health through Engineering and Simulation (Jump ARCHES) Grant Program.
Proposals are due April 10, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Jump ARCHES is a strategic partnership between the University of Illinois Grainger Health Care Engineering Systems Center, OSF HealthCare, and the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. The endowed program supports collaborative projects between engineers and health care providers working to address pressing health care challenges, improve patient outcomes, and reduce costs through innovative solutions.
The Spring 2026 funding cycle includes two tracks:
Translation Track
Supports projects that move proven health innovations into clinical practice by addressing implementation challenges, scalability, and system-level barriers.
Innovation Track
Provides seed funding for research-driven projects that develop and test new tools, technologies, and processes that improve quality, safety, and value in health care delivery, diagnostics, therapeutics, education, and outreach.
Researchers who are seeking collaborators can submit the IAI Collaboration Request Form by March 25, 2026 to help identify potential engineering partners.
