Marynia’s research explores how social, spatial, and structural factors shape health outcomes, with a focus on health equity, environmental justice, and access to care.

Rachel Magee | Information Sciences

Rachel’s research focuses on youth experiences with technology and literacy, with a goal of designing information systems that promote diversity, social justice, and information literacy.

Violeta Rodriguez | Psychology

Violeta’s research focuses on developing and validating reliable parenting assessments designed specifically for ethnoracially diverse and sexual and gender minority (SGM) parents.

Manuel Hernandez | Health & Kinesiology

Manuel’s research interests include aging, movement disorders, and systems neuroscience, with affiliations in several departments at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
