Cris Perez Molina (He/Him)

Communication Coordinator

Cris (Cristhtian) serves as the Communications Coordinator for the Center for Social and Behavioral Science (CSBS), where he leads and supports strategic communications for the Center’s programs, initiatives, and events. He develops and manages content for newsletters, web and print materials, and event communications; applies brand and style standards; and works closely with CSBS staff, researchers, and campus partners to share social and behavioral science research in clear, engaging, and accessible ways. Cris is a primary point of contact for communications-related inquiries and is happy to collaborate with faculty, staff, and partners on promoting research, events, and initiatives connected to CSBS.

Newly relocated from Douglasville, GA, Cris brings more than 15 years of experience in public-sector communications, design, and brand management. Prior to joining CSBS, he worked in municipal government, where he supported cross-departmental communications and community engagement initiatives using graphic design, photography, and video to make local government more accessible and easy to understand for residents. He also led efforts to develop and maintain the city’s brand identity, helping ensure consistent, audience-centered messaging that strengthened community connection and trust.

Outside the office, Cris enjoys exploring national parks, discovering international cuisine, and finding creative inspiration through the arts. He’s especially drawn to experiences that combine creative, culture, and curiosity—from theatre and literature to technology and astronomy.
